The topic of this project is to choose an urban slang and design a typography-based installation. The word we chose is ‘ghosted’, which means when a person is experiencing emotional abuse from their other half. The central idea is about the negative emotions caused by “ghosting” in modern relationships. Younger generations often form connections through phones, sometimes treating them carelessly. While love starts beautifully, being ghosted later can lead to feelings like depression, loneliness, and hopelessness. The text aims to metaphorically show this shift from happiness to pain after ghosting.
