Mood scape

In East Asian culture, people tend to view emotions as interference with rational judgment. However, emotions are natural fluctuations in life, and only by accepting emotions can we achieve true inner stability. Based on this observation, we created an interactive installation that aims to guide people to dialogue with their own emotions.  The installation includes eight platforms representing basic emotions. Through pressure sensors and guidance cards, the audience can feel the dynamic changes of emotions and evoke the energy and flow of emotions. This is not only a technical experience, but also an emotional self-identification and healing.

designer who design without computer

In the context of the current wave of digitalization that almost completely covers design education and practice, computers are not only embedded in daily workflows as tools but also have a profound impact on the generation path and expression of design thinking. The book “Designers Who Design Without Computers” is a practical observation and critical thinking in such a context. Through interviews, case records and writing analysis with a group of designers who intentionally choose the “non-digital path”, this paper attempts to explore when design returns to manual labor, material intuition, physical experience and the re-perception of time, what changes will occur in the designer’s identity, creative logic and relationship with society.

Amor fati

This installation wants to help people realize that nothingness is a necessary thing and that instead of fear, we can choose to face it. This philosophical concept, inspired by Nietzsche, includes both a calm acceptance of the impermanence of fate (such as illness, setbacks, or the randomness of existence itself), and an active, poetic attitude: no matter what curve balls life throws, we can turn them into nutrients for self-growth.
