Project1：Miss Fancy
Miss Fancy is a handbag that embodies a fusion of historical elegance and modern chic, inspired by the graceful union of fan and bag concepts. The laser-cut fangsheng pattern symbolizes a wish for happiness and luck. Tailored for young women, Miss Fancy is ideal for diverse occasions including shopping. Made of two materials – steel and fabric – contrasting each other with their colors and properties this fashionable accessory empowers women to embrace beauty and happiness with every graceful sway.
Project2: Concha
“Concha,” meaning “shell” in Latin, symbolizes nature’s treasures. China produces significant waste oyster shells (WOS) annually, mostly discarded along coasts, causing severe ecological damage. CONCHA transforms these shells into eco-friendly tiles by mixing crushed shells with seaweed fibers, creating a sustainable material. Inspired by coastal Minnan, CONCHA incorporates vibrant Minnan tile patterns with natural shell textures, merging environmental innovation with cultural heritage to promote conservation and tradition.
Project3: JellyMed
With the increasing frequency of beach trips in recent times, incidents of marine creature bites have also been on the rise. However, most tourists are unaware of the correct treatment methods for such bites, and many beaches lack proper first aid stations. My design, “Beach Bite Aid,” offers medication to relieve wounds and helps victims quickly and effectively treat their injuries right on the beach.
