A methodology centered on “blank space” has been developed, with the principle: “Blank space is functional nothingness, and design ultimately completes its cycle in the viewer’s mind.” Based on this methodology, the brand “White Space Driver” was created, along with a packaging design centered on fountain pens. The packaging opening mechanism is integrated with the pen’s usage, aiming to trigger the viewer’s physical and cognitive memories—thereby achieving visual design that resonates and communicates with the audience.

As a renowned brand of traditional Japanese rice wine, Dassai is celebrated for its unique craftsmanship. This packaging redesign for Dassai focuses on a more international design approach to tap into potential customer bases. While preserving traditional Japanese colors and textures, it elevates the element of “rice” to a more prominent position, highlighting the characteristics of its raw materials.

It is a book design about a specific profession, themed “Accountants Who Cook the Books”. False accounting, though real but unnoticed by most people, occurs daily and directly or indirectly affects our lives. The half-red seal with half-valid markings implies the false legitimacy of fraudulent accounting.

Accounting, when I think of the profession of accounting, this adjective comes to mind. It seems that every profession can do some bad things, but money is often necessary to drive these villains. As an accountant who deals with money every day, it is very easy to take risks if the mind is not firm enough. In Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, accounting is used to cover up the truth. The “company” in the novel carried out cruel colonial plunder and exploitation on the African continent under the guise of spreading civilization. But the “company’s” accounts are clean, clear, accurate, and reasonable. In fact, it is a means of dressing up the exploitative practices of the “corporation” as a good and legitimate enterprise. This contrast highlights the hypocrisy and deception of accounting. As a kind of economic management activity, accounting should reflect the essence of economic business truly and accurately, but here, it has become a tool to cover up evil. At the same time, it also profoundly reflects the darkness and depravity of human nature. Accountants may not be directly involved in committing crimes such as murder, but they are indirectly complicit in the evil by “dressing” accounts to conform to so-called norms, demonstrating how easily human conscience and moral boundaries can be breached in the face of the temptations of profit and power. These clean and clean accounting records, like a mirror, reflect the face of hypocrisy. Art comes from life, and I think reality will not be inferior to art, or even more absurd and indifferent than art works. This is called the world of the table and the world of the inside. As an ordinary person, the world we see is actually the surface world, not to mention the information cocoon, those information producers output what they want others to see, behind the ugly, or touch the moral, legal bottom line of the part is they want to hide, invisible. And this part of the relationship with money is extremely deep, the financial department is the most appropriate tool, and accounting is the most basic part of this department.

This is a set of promotional designs for Bird Life, an international non-profit bird conservation organization, including visual design, app development, and exhibition curation for recently extinct and endangered bird species. Birds that once existed in the world are forgotten by humans after extinction or never noticed at all, much like exquisite paintings washed away by rain, ruthlessly destroyed.
