A series of surprise boxes were produced based on the Classic of Mountains and Seas, echoing the infographic. Four mythical beasts with specific meanings were selected through a large amount of data and then reassembled into modules to highlight the strangeness and diversity of the mythical beasts. Each mythical beast in the Mountains and Seas series can be reorganized to obtain a new mythical beast. Then, using ancient books as a reference, automata are used to show the habits and characteristics of each mythical beast, thus forming a complete system of mountains and seas surprise boxes.

First, I will introduce this small book, which tells the storyline and emotional expression of the movie Yi Nian Wu Ming. Simple red and blue graphics express the protagonist’s inner emotional changes. Then, the main critical frames of the film are used to tell the story. The feelings and contradictions extended from the small book, and the next big book was designed. The main content of the big book is that I interviewed a total of 16 classmates at WKU who suffered from bipolar disorder or depression. They provided me with stories about their experiences, as well as photos of depressed times and happy times. Finally, there is what they wanted to say to themselves. I wrote a reply for them based on the content provided above. The big book mainly consists of the above contents. Coupled with some artistic processing, the design is organized into a book. The whole book is designed and described around the sense of contradiction. It mainly highlights the interviewees’ inner conflicts, pain, and struggles. Through the design of these two books, I hope to draw public attention to patients with bipolar disorder and depression. Be able to understand them better and treat them calmly without colored glasses. They are not terrible perverts; they are just a group of children who need special care.

Dragon Element Theme English Font Design

I added Chinese style to English fonts, and the dragon is one of the representative elements of typical Chinese style. I then used simple graphics and colorful colors to express it for an excellent visual effect.
