This project challenges the traditional links between partnership, marriage, and reproduction, inspired by asexual reproduction in nature. It envisions a future where humans break free from these bonds, provoking thoughts on evolving societal structures through a blend of design and art.
This project is to reinterpret the movie The Hours in my own way and create the layout logic of the book based on my understanding of the movie. There are two books in this project, one of which is based on the common perspective of the heroine and I, to understand the impact of the two women in the movie on the heroine, and how they influence each other’s choices. The second book is designed based on the feeling I extracted from the movie – loneliness, combined with the movie and my own analysis of myself.
This project is a promotional design for the Riot Festival. The project redesigned the logo to make the brand younger. In addition, the promotional posters used rock, punk, and other intense music elements and colors to convey the charm of the music festival.
Eyes Land is an immersive installation with a walking area at the front and an eye control area at the rear. It aims to evoke a sense of nothingness through a veil projection effect. The camera recognizes the audience’s facial orientation, activating a clock that rushes back and forth, creating a sense of urgency as if time is reversing. This simulates the confusion of time and space in dreams, where people feel they control events, but in reality, they are merely flipping a scene switch. Without a brain, there are no dreams. The installation guides people into the subconscious world, experiencing random dreams with momentary logic, using abstract yet accessible images, the sense of time from consciousness, and visual cues.
