Yuzhe Xie

I studied Interior Design during my undergraduate years, where I gained skills in space planning, materials, and visual storytelling. My passion lies in creating environments that are both functional and emotionally engaging. I also explored related fields such as art and architecture to enrich my design thinking. Moving forward, I hope to deepen my knowledge in sustainable design, refine my technical abilities, and continue doing work that reflects my creativity and dedication to improving people’s everyday experiences through thoughtful interior spaces.

Project 1

In the hearts of Chinese people, there lies a deeply rooted martial arts dream — a quiet yearning passed down through generations. We long to fly over rooftops and leap across walls, to move with grace and agility through narrow alleys and winding streets, just like the heroes in ancient tales. It is not merely about physical prowess, but a pursuit of freedom, justice, and honor. This dream carries with it a sense of romance and legend, a desire to live beyond the ordinary and to write a story that is uniquely our own — one filled with bravery, loyalty, and the poetic spirit of martial arts.

Project 2

The design of the office is inspired by the shape of waves in nature, aiming to create an office environment full of fluidity and modern artistic beauty. The overall space adopts a soft curve language, and the ceiling-suspended lamps present the image of surging waves, injecting agility and lightness into the space. The layout of the tables and chairs in the work area follows the curved lines, which not only enhances the openness and interactivity of the space, but also improves the comfort and efficiency of use. The walls and custom bookshelves are composed of continuous curved surfaces, like the cascading undulations of the tide, which not only echoes the design theme, but also brings rich visual levels to the space. The overall color scheme is mainly calm gray and white, supplemented by dark blue embellishments, creating a quiet, focused and creative office experience.

Project 3

The overall design of this case is inspired by the “cream style”, using soft beige, apricot and light wood to create a warm and peaceful space atmosphere. Furniture with rounded lines and low saturation tones runs through each area, presenting a natural and soft visual experience. The level and comfort of the space are enhanced through the delicate material matching and soft lighting design. The overall layout focuses on the integration of function and beauty, so that every corner exudes a light, relaxing and healing atmosphere of life, creating a gentle and textured ideal residence.
