I am an industrial designer. In my daily life, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and enjoying nature. I enjoy exploring everything unknown in design, and design makes me feel free and happy.

Project 1: The name of our furniture brand is Cipher. In this collection of furniture, our inspiration and basic principle is Samuel Morse’s representative work – Morse code. Morse code is a way to transmit information privately and our design mainly focus on the interaction between human and furniture. The color we mainly use is sage green because the color is reminiscent of communication tools such as the old-fashioned telegraph, it takes people back to the context of encrypted communication and echoes our basic principles.

Project 2: Green Up uses a variety of plants to purify the air, and the primary materials are metal and ceramics. It uses local plants in Chengdu, combined with the tea-drinking habits of Chengdu people, and nourishes the plants with leftover tea leaves or tea dregs. After the plants mature, they are reused by people, forming a circular ecosystem.

Project 3: Golden Dawn is a desk lamp inspired by Zeya’s beautiful mountainous landscape and the golden sunlight’s reflections at dawn. The product is made of laser-cut red rosewood panels in the shapes of mountains and hills, arranged into layers to create a rich and intriguing skyline. An LED strip is placed in the base, and it is covered with white opaque acrylic sheets. When the light is turned on, it reflects on the yellowish Zeya paper creating a pleasant visual effect.

Project 4: Ms.Ace focuses on how to address the safety issues women face when staying in hotels. According to a series of dangerous incidents encountered by women in the hotel, we find out the hidden dangers and risks that may exist in the hotel, for the most serious hidden camera and door problems conducted in-depth research. This series of products through the detection camera infrared heat source technology and someone staying outside the door for a long time to escort the safety of women in the hotel room, in order to reduce unknown risks for women, and better protect people’s personal privacy and information security.
