Yinuo Zhou

I studied Interior Design during my undergraduate years and minored in Art History. With hands-on experience in real-world projects and internships, I developed strong skills in spatial planning and cultural design. As the president of the student design council and co-founder of a design studio, I have honed both leadership and creative thinking. I aim to further explore sustainable and experiential design through graduate studies, staying committed to meaningful, human-centered spaces.

Project 1

The concept of transforming a cramped interior into a therapeutic landscape focuses on enhancing well-being through natural elements. By introducing daylight, plants, textures, and calming colors, the space gains openness and tranquility. Vertical greenery, water features, and sensory elements like sound and scent create a multi-sensory experience. Cozy rest areas and meditation corners promote reflection and relaxation. This design turns a confined space into a vibrant, healing environment.

Project 2

This child-friendly outdoor park is designed to inspire imagination, play, and learning. With safe play structures, natural elements, and interactive zones, it encourages physical activity and creativity. Shaded areas, soft surfaces, and sensory features make it enjoyable and inclusive for all children. It’s a fun, safe, and welcoming space for families to gather and explore together.

Project 3

The entrance exhibition hall introduces visitors to the rich history of yellow rice wine and the transformation of the air-raid shelter. Through archival images, brewing tools, and immersive storytelling, the space bridges the past and present, setting the tone for an experiential journey blending heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation.
