By observing the growth and disappearance of materials, the project redefines electrochemical reactions as autonomous systems capable of generating form, rather than merely as manufacturing processes. It also rethinks the relationship between designers and materials, and attempts to establish a design approach in which materials actively participate.

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4576″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_image”][vc_column_text]

Project 2: SCENT OF SEASONS——Chaguozi Aromatherapy & Handmade Soap Series

Using the flowers of the four seasons as the shape, we bring the ritual of traditional Chaguozi to life. Four felt panels are sewn together and curved, with one felt piece forming each side.
